Good

Location is great, just a couple of minutes walk to the closest MRT station. Room/shower was clean, snacks and coffee/tea provided everyday.

Room rather cramped, but this is probably par for the course for this price range in Singapore. Pool was rather dinky & it feels like it's just there to say they have a pool.

When I booked the hotel I had sent an email to make sure my room would have a balcony since I would be there for 6 days. I never got a reply so I thought that it was ok. After arriving at the hotel they gave me a room on the 2nd floor which I never managed to unlock and get in. I went back to reception and was asked to go upstairs again with my luggages and the receptionist so he could check it. After he didn't succeed either, we returned to the lobby to be given a new room. This time I was in the same place but on the 4th floor. After walking in I was disappointed to find that I had no balcony but only a window that looked out onto an alley full of rubbish. I went to the lobby again but was told that this was my room and if I wanted to upgrade I would have to pay about $50 extra. To the question why they didn't reply to my email to let me know.. they didn't have an answer. I returned disappointed to the room where I found that the TV was not working.. We called the technician..After he fixed the TV I found out that I could not use netflix as I had been told because the smart remote control that the room had it was from another TV and in general .. it was not a smart TV. ????????.After we were done with that too .. I found that the safe box was not working!! In the end and after losing almost 3 hours of my day and wanting to cry .. everything was somehow better ! On the plus side .. the technician was very polite and nice even though his English was very poor. The 2 cleaners were kind, although probably the hotel's policy is: no broom every day .. but .. Every day I had water, coffee and cookies for free. The use of the pool was until 22:00 at night which is very nice and the hotel is very close to MRT lavender

In the end .. everything was good and I forgot the troubles of the 1st day! For the money I paid…I would recommend it to people but if I have to came back I would make sure that next time I ll have a balcony!

Overall it was an excellent stay.

The location is perfect, nice restaurants around the corner, friendly staff and clean facilities.

Atleast they should provide sits at the balcony, also there are noise across the streets because of construction.

Good staycation. With bathtub and swimming pool

Hotel was clean. Many food options near by Location was great. A few min walk to Lavender, Bugis, Arab Street, Mustafa Center and more. Suite was good size for us. Family of 5 as we add an additional bed for my son.

There was Construction site Infront of the hotel. Quite noisy in the morning

Nice enough but was a lot better in its 5 star heydays as Pan Pacific! This is now Halal-ran hotel

Halal hotel not specified in booking sites. No alchohol, no smoking + too many unruly, uncontrolled children running amok in a crowded breakfast dining room. Management should note that non-Muslim guests equally deserve respect and consideration, we pay just the same!

the family loved it

the location was good, near to several tourist attraction places, the services such as on the house minibar and drinks, letting us store our luggage before we checked-in and after we checked-out

the room service team could upgrade its quality services by doing a thorough check up when the room is being prepard for the incoming guests as we encountered a pillow with lipstick stained on it.

The hotel is in a good neighborhood. Not so expensive.

The bed is comfortable. The mini bar is free (snacks and soft drinks) and can get a refill every day. The receptionist staff are patient and helpful. It is accessible by public transport, food centers are around the area.

It was too noisy in the morning and I couldn't sleep again. I think we were unlucky. Maybe, other rooms are not.

Effecient, alright budget place to stay. Nothing else.

The atmosphere, basic design is great and highlights the historic heritage.

The room was TINY. No work space, no way to open the suitcase but on the floor. The lady that checked me in could have been less interested in me. I asked her for breakfast options (there are none at the hotel) and she shrugged and said 'you need to walk around...'

overall I am happy to stay here as the rates are reasonable and they have a great staff in Mos

The simplicity of the hotel yet suffice Location wise was not too bad except not much attractions and nice eateries

Housekeeping was bad. Everyday something is missing from the room. First day, the housekeeping didnt refill the free minibar from snacks to drinks in the fridge Next day housekeeping totally didn't provide any towels in the bathroom Another day , the trash was not taken out Another day again the bathroom has no towels and hand towels Thank God for a nice staff called Mos whom I called to assist when I got back to the hotel. He is such a helpful and always smiling. That really took my tension away as I was tired when I reached my room to be given surprises almost every night for 4 nights of my stay in this hotel

Wonderful

There was major construction work going on right in front of the hotel which led to noise pollution early mornings disturbing sleep patterns. However,I realise this is out the hotels control but it would have been nice to be informed about this when making my booking.

Great boutique hotel with exceptional staff service

Great boutique hotel with helpful and friendly staff and just a 5 minute walk to lavender station

Currently there’s some construction going on opposite the hotel which proved to be quite noisy at times

I stayed just one night while in transit. The hotel delivered exactly what I wanted.

A good middle of the road hotel, which delivered exactly what I hoped for from it.

Very cozy room for a staycay but would be better if there was lesser noise

good amenities - cafe, eateries, convenient store and walking distance from train station. Room was very cozy, a very spacious bathroom with a big bathtub. Very friendly staff at the front desk and also the room service team.

It was quite noisy at night - the sound from the traffic and the music from the bar at the ground level. unfortunately there was a construction going on just right opposite the hotel so we got awakened in the morning by the construction.
